  • Boat Description

    The Geordie Girl is a 36-foot Narrowboat for sale currently in zone 1 of Central London.

    She has been my home for the last year but after 3 years of life on the water and some unforeseen circumstances, I am looking to sell her. Before this, she had been in the same family since she was built.

    GG is a 36-foot, Cruiser stern 1978 Springer narrowboat that has traveled from Nottingham to London over the last year. She was last blacked in 2019 and has a BSS until 2025.

    She has solar panels and solar power set up that is ready to be installed although I have not done so just yet. She will need a little cosmetic work to finish putting the ceiling into the boat and to install the fireplace. The stove is a Squirrel stove and only had one winter worth of use.

    The boat has both bow and stern covers to prevent rainwater in the bilge and create a storage area in the front and a seating area.

    The bed at the back has been made into a large double across the boat but lifts into a seating area with a walkway in the middle. There are also 2 bunk beds for this area. There is a wardrobe which becomes the bedroom door.

    Moving back is the kitchen which runs alongside one side of the boat and on the other a bathroom that has a shower.

    The toilet is a cassette toilet and was new this time last year. At the stern of the boat is a seating area with storage built in underneath and a table that can be removed to turn into a bed.

    The cruiser stern has a seat for cruising.

    She also has a gas cooker and fridge.

    I have done some engine maintenance as well since buying her.

    Hi, this boat is no longer for sail. She sold within a week of being put up. I didn’t post her to this site and so have no idea how to get her removed. I’m very sorry about this. Not all of the information on this post is entirely accurate either. Hopefully you all find the perfect boat for you
