Hamlet is a spacious cruiser stern narrowboat that was built by R&D Fabrications in 1984 with steel plates of 6mm. I had a full survey done last November that showed the plates to be in an ok condition for the age of the boat. The hull has never been over-plated and it has 10 anodes. It has a BSC that is valid until January 2025.
I’ve lived on Hamlet alone but, due to its size, a couple or a family could easily live on board.
The current layout from stern to bow is the entrance area, bedroom, and corridor with a bathroom off it before an open space with a kitchen, table, and lounge.

– Leisure batteries: 4 95ah lead acid batteries fitted in January 2022

– 12V Shoreline RR102 Fridge fitted in October 2021
– Statesman Legacy 50LPG oven fitted in March 2022
WATER
– Huge water tank at the front that easily lasts me 6 weeks.
– Water pump is a Shurflo Trail King fitted in June 2020
– Water pump in the bathroom to remove shower waste water.
ENGINE
– Thornycroft T105 diesel engine
