Myra-D is a 50ft narrowboat built by the well-renowned R&D Fabrications in 1995. Currently in London.

Perfect for cruising, she is set up to function fully off-grid and benefits from good internal headroom, a man of 6’4 can stand comfortably.

Accommodation
Myra-D has a great layout. She has a spacious bow, ideal for spending time outside and having a boat garden. On entering from the bow on your left is her multi-fuel stove which keeps the boat lovely and Warm in winter and on the right is some storage (currently used for shoes). Further, into the boat, there are two built-in sofas about 6ft in length, with lots of storage in the sofas. Leading in the kitchen there is lots of storage, an oven with 4 hobs (gas), a 12v fridge, recently fitted solid oak countertops, a Butler sink and a beautiful brushed brass tap.
Moving into the bedroom there is a full-sized double bed with lots of storage underneath, and a wardrobe at each end. We have a space above the head of the bed about 5 ft, this area has been used as an office with a desk and as a musical instrument area.

At the back of the boat is the bathroom, with two Thetford 365 cassettes toilets we find this can usually last two weeks, there is also a sink and full-sized shower.

The benefits of this layout, having the bathroom at the back,is it offers ease of access to the bathroom after working on the engine and makes keeping the living room and bedroom heated easier in winter.

From the bathroom, there is direct access to the engine bay.
She has a lovely traditional stern giving plenty of safe storage for tools and bikes.

There are solar panels on the roof mounted on storage boxes giving even more storage.

Recent works: in 2021 her exterior was painted in, she has had a new kitchen counter and sinks fitted and the interior has also been recently painted.

Hull: Steel, 10,6,4, blacked in 2022.

Engine: Lombardi LDW 1204m, 38hp, timing belt changed: Jan 2020, last serviced 2022.

Heating: multi-fuel stove and webastow-headed central heating.

Electric:
Her set-up is fully 12V solar-powered, though there are disconnected cables for 240v, the new owner could re-instate if they wanted to fit an inverter or use shoreline.

There are 2x 175-watt solar panels on the roof, this results in there rarely being a need to run the engine for power, there is a wall-mounted monitor to aid in power management.

Water: stainless steel tank, 273 litres (60 gallons)
Water is heated by the Webastow or by the engine when cruising and there is a calorifier under the bed.

Fule: tank holds 150 litres of diesel
