55 ft trad stern narrowboat built by Pickwell & Arnold of Todmorden in 2001.

Phoebe is a one off build, all steel construction (10-6-5) and has been our much loved home since 2009. Fully painted 2022, 3 coats of International Interfuf blacking August 2022, new anodes in 2018 have plenty of life left in them, Barrus Shire (Japanese Yanmar based) 50hp engine, brand new top rudder bearing. Beautiful Esse Doric enammeled solid fuel range (new firebox and flue professionally fitted in 2018) with backboiler heating both domestic hot water tank and radiator in bedroom.

Hot water also supplied from engine. Kyocera solar panel with MPPT controller, dual alternators (engine and domestic) 16A shoreline supply with 7A Ctek smart charger, 1000W inverter. Low energy LED lighting throughout, 12v and 240v sockets throughout, Pioneer 12v sound system, Thetford gas hob, Russell Hobbs 240v under counter fridge freezer.

Large stainless steel custom shower tray, Whale Gulper shower pump, Jabsco domestic water pump (new in 2020), Thetford cassette toilet. Enormous (1000L approx) integral water tank in bow, 300L approx fuel tank (full), gas locker currently holds two 13kg propane cylinders with space for a third if required. Phoebe is a beautifully built boat, particularly easy to steer with an unusually high stern deck for great visibility.
