Peggy is a Cruiser Stern Narrowboat built in 1984 by Hancock & Lane Boat Builders. An owner fit-outs take on the popular reverse layout. Propulsion is by a BMC 1.5 Diesel Engine.
Entering into the galley, she is fitted with a 12v fridge with a freezer compartment and an oven & hob. The common theme throughout this boat is storage, well thought out and so much of it. The saloon features the only source of heating, the solid fuel stove. The shower room is complete with a porta potti WC, a vanity basin, and a large stand-up shower. The utility storage room is next, which could couple as a small working space, leading onto a sizeable master bedroom with a large fitted double bed.
The boat was last blacked & surveyed in August 2021 and all of the recommended work has been done, as well as the boat being in conclusion structurally sound. A boat safety certificate remains in place until 2025.
