Unfortunately the current owners of the Shady Oak in Tarporley are stepping down.
This is a great little pub and a boaters favourite in the summer months.
Hope somebody takes it over and restores it to what it used to be.
This place has great potential.

This place will be missed.
I went their after everything we have been through and it was limited opening times with limited food.
They tried their best and hopefully someone will take it over soon before its lost forever.

😥This is such a shame. I enjoyed sitting out in the beer garden in the summer having a nice drink and watch the world go by. Great views of the canal and Beeston castle. I hope some canal lovers will take it over and make it into a great place for boaters. It would make a great venue for small floating markets and canal festivities!
