The Bridge Inn (previously known as The Trap) is located right next to the Welsh border.
In days gone by when Welsh pubs were “dry” pubs the welsh locals would come here to drink.
Their signage states that the Bridge Inn is the last pub in England.
The Bridge Inn has a decked patio area that gives excellent views of the River Ceiriog being bridged by Thomas Telford’s aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal, and Henry Robertson’s railway viaduct.

Really nice little pub overlooking Chirk aquaduct. Love it in the summer for a cheeky pint then down the river for a paddle.
Nice views of Chirk aqueduct.
The bridge inn is a lovely little pub with an awesome view of the Chirk aqueduct and railway bridge.
