Cranfleet L1 is a short navigational cut off the River Trent, located just south of Long Eaton. It offers excellent access to the Midlands waterways network, including the Erewash Canal, Trent & Mersey Canal, and River Soar. Nottingham, Derby, and Loughborough are all within easy reach by car.

– Two mooring areas:

– Towpath side: up to 13 vessels

– Off-side: up to 6 vessels

– Type: Leisure mooring only (not residential)

– Access: CRT key may be required for gated entrance

🛠️ Facilities

– Drinking water (towpath lock approach)

– Refuse disposal (in car park)

– No dedicated electric points

– Car parking: Open, unsecured; moorers may use but have no priority

– Additional services (Elsan disposal ) available at Trent Lock (~0.5 miles west)
