How often you need to black your narrowboat will depend on several factors, such as the type of blacking used, the condition of the existing blacking, and the amount of use your boat gets.

I black mine every 2 years as a continuous cruiser.

😀 Id at least try to get mine blacked every three years. Thats what was suggested to me anyway by other boaters.
